He then used a program that I think is made by MS that hides the driver from Win Update. I think his adapter is Intel.ĭowngrade the video driver to an old driver. Mine have N-V-I-D-I-A NVS 3100M display adapters. I have two i5 and one i7 E6410's without this problem. He discovered that he could use an external monitor with the new driver.
Win Update would immediately install a newer video driver that would turn the screen black. Win10 worked OK until he connected to his Wi-Fi network. A friend of mine had this problem with an i3 E6410.
